"Never think that a small action done to your neighbor is not worth much.
It is not how much we do that is pleasing to God, but how much love we put into that doing."
- Mother Theresa
Mass Coordinators are called to grow into the hospitality of Christ.
Their lives foster "Communion" and community.
This necessary link between life and worship
is the basis for separating those whose service in worship
is a function from those whose service in worship is a ministry.
There are numerous responsibilities for the Mass Coordinator,
which makes them and integral and vital part of worship in our community.
These responsibilities begin with the Mass Coordinator's arrival approximately 25 minutes before the beginning of the celebration.
The Mass Coordinator is responsible
for having all of the vessels and ancillaries used for the particular celebration
in readiness for the Presider and Altar Servers.
The Mass Coordinator makes sure that all liturgical ministers
are present and ready for the celebration,
including Altar Servers, Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers.
They also are responsible that all Eucharistic Ministers
are assigned and know their designated area.
